Kevin Triplett, joined the South Carolina NRCS team serving Charleston & Berkeley Counties in May 2022. Growing up in Western Nebraska Kevin gained an interest in agriculture at an early age. Throughout high school he worked for ranchers and joined the high school rodeo team as a bull rider. While working on ranches and sale barns, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Rangeland Management. Kevin started his roots with the USDA, working three years for the Forest Service in Wyoming, then on to the warmer climate in Flagstaff, AZ. While working on the Coconino National Forest he decided on a goal of working with NRCS. Kevin states, “I am passionate about working with producers to address resource concerns on their properties and agricultural operations. I am excited to be here in South Carolina and for the opportunity to meet and work in Berkeley and Charleston Counties.”
Mr. Triplett will be a valuable asset to Berkeley Soil and Water Conservation District as we join together to promote conservation practices and provide help to the farmers, landowners and residents of Berkeley County.
