Wheeler Brewster

“Phillip Habib is a lifelong resident of Berkeley County. He attended Stratford High School and graduated in 2014. After high school he attended Wofford College and earned a degree in Business Economics.”

In his off time he enjoys kayaking the Berkeley Blueways and drinking craft beers.

Wheeler Brewster is originally from a small town in northeast Mississippi named Iuka. Wheeler grew up surrounded by agriculture while gaining most of his experience through his family’s row crop farm. He attained his BA at Mississippi State University with a major in Agricultural Science. Wheeler has been with the NRCS since May of 2021 as a Pathways intern and continued after graduating as a Soil Conservationist technician in northeast Mississippi. Wheeler then was accepted to join the NRCS team as a Soil Conservationist for Berkeley and Charleston counties as of August 2022. Wheeler states, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Berkeley and Charleston counties as a Soil Conservationist with the NRCS. Being able to assist landowners and producers toward agriculture solutions is my passion and I look forward to fulfilling that passion within these counties and the state of South Carolina.”

Mr. Brewster will be a valuable asset to Berkeley Soil and Water Conservation District as we join together to promote conservation practices and provide help to the farmers, landowners and residents of Berkeley County.
